The Fall season is here! Soccer continues to grow rapidly across the country, and North Lakeland Youth Soccer remains committed to creating the most family‑friendly and fun environment possible for our players and parents.

For Age Group U08, if we get enough numbers that age group will be broken out into GENDER SPECIFIC teams, however if not, they will be combined into a COED group.  U04-U06 as always COED.

ABOUT THE FALL:
Players of all abilities and experience are welcome to sign up and play!

 Each player that signs up will be assigned to a team and that team will have an assigned coach. If you want to volunteer as a coach, you can do so when registering your player.  Coaches are instructed to follow the 50% play rule for game time as this is our recreational season and is important that all players play.

If you have siblings/family that need to be on the same team and they are in the SAME AGE GROUP AND GENDER, PLEASE note that in the PLAYER REQUEST BOX during sign-ups.  Siblings/family in DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS will not be allowed to play on the same team unless approved by our Director of Coaching and the Board of NLYS.  

NLYS will do its best to honor any player or coaching request you may have but understand it is not guaranteed.

Depending on the coach, teams will practice once or twice a week (generally on some combination of MON/TUES/THURS/FRI) after 6 pm. All games will be played on Saturdays. 

U04-U08 Play all games at Hunt Fountain Park.

U10-U15 Play against other teams throughout Polk County.  This means that up to half of their games (5 of the 10) will be played away from Hunt Fountain Park.

IMPORTANT DATES:

*>Registration opens June 1st at 8 am and will close on August 2nd at midnight.
*>If there are dates for Late Registration those will be announced later and there will be a $15 late fee if you register late.
*>Recreational Training will start the week of September 2nd.

COST:
The cost for the FALL season this year is still $110 for players born using the chart above and is NON-REFUNDABLE.  This covers the cost of registering the player for the upcoming season, insurance, field fees, and the cost of one (1) soccer uniform (jersey/shorts/socks) that will be used during game days.  Players will need to purchase their soccer cleats, shin guards, and an age group appropriately sized soccer ball. If you have any questions on which ball, let us know.

     For U4/U6/U8 - you will use a size 3 ball.
     For U10/U12 - you will use a size 4 ball.
     For U15 - you will use a size 5 ball.

NOTE: SportsConnect, the company that hosts this site, charges a $3 service for each order.  It is not a PER player fee, it is a PER ORDER fee.

NLYS has a limited number of Partial Grants available for those who would like to play soccer but may have an issue paying the full registration fee.  Please fill out the Grant Application Form and bring it to one of our onsite registration events to register and turn the form in.  Please take your time and read it FULLY, as there have been new steps added to the form.  All previous versions of this form are no longer valid.  If you can't print it now, we will have copies available to fill out at our onsite events.

ONLINE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
If you will be paying via CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD, you can sign up online, 24/7, at www.NLYSoccer.org between JUNE 1st and August 2nd.  Just click on the Register/Login link in the UPPER RIGHT HAND OF THE PAGE.  If you have an account (played previously with NLYS) you can use your Account to log in and Register for the Fall Season.  If you don't remember your login, there is a recovery link.  If you are NEW and/or don't have an account, you can create one.

Registering AFTER the original deadline of AUGUST 2nd will incur a $15 late fee.

If you DID NOT PLAY, with NLYS during our SPRING 2026 season, you will need to have a copy of the player’s Birth Certificate available when registering online.

Follow the screens throughout the process, please read each section carefully, answering as many questions as you can.  If you run into an issue, send an email to [email protected] and put REGISTRATION ISSUE in the subject.

ONSITE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
If you need to pay via CASH, CHECK, or MONEY ORDER or you need to turn in your GRANT FORM, you will need to come down and register in person.  We will be at our fields at 7036 Green Road, Lakeland Florida 33810 during specific dates in our office next to the field.  Please note we MAY add dates from time to time and we will be there even in inclement weather.  These on-sites are designed for those who need to pay their registration fees by CASH/CHECK, need to try on uniforms, or need to turn in a GRANT form.  If you can pay by Credit/Debit card and know your child's uniform size, you DO NOT need to come into the office during an on-site.

PARENTS/COACHES:
NLYS Is always looking for coaches for the upcoming season.  NLYS is dedicated to giving new and established coaches better resources for this upcoming season.  We will have a Coaching Clinic available for you to attend as well as several drills and session plans available on our website.  If you are interested in becoming an Assistant or Head Coach, please select the Coaches VOLUNTEER ROLE when registering your player and we will get back with you on how to become a coach.  You can also contact Endy Ortiz our Director of Coaching for more information.

We are expecting a large increase in the number of players that are registering and we will have a need for Volunteers to coach.  No experience needed as NLYS will give you all the help that you need.

NLYS Fall 2026 RECREATIONAL SCHEDULES:
When released, U04 - U08 should all be uploaded into your Schedule in the app.  For U10B, U10G, U12B, U12G, U15B, and U15G, coaches should receive a copy of their schedule, and they will be responsible for updating the app with the correct schedule.

FIELD LOCATIONS:
Games in the U4, U6 and U8 age groups will all be played at the NLYS HOME Fields (Corner of Green and Duff Roads - 7036 Green Road, Lakeland Florida 33810), while the U10, U12, and U15 teams will play AT LEAST HALF of their games at HOME.  The rest will be played at other area soccer fields within Polk County.
